Southern Women's Museum

Southern Women's Museum : Opened in 1985, the Southern Women's Museum sits in the former palace of the Police Force General of Saigon.
A large building, it displays thousands of rare photos and artefacts of Southern Vietnamese women's contribution to the foundation and defence of South Vietnam.
Particular importance is given to women who worked to preserve the country's culture and heritage. Besides the museum the building also contains a conference room and library.
A short trip out of the centre of Saigon, it's worth a peek if you're in the area.
